This Privacy Policy explains how Jadi Pintar (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about users (“you”) of our English learning app, Jadi Pintar, targeting Indonesian learners of various ages and proficiency levels.

The Information We Collect

When you interact with our Apps, we collect data that can be used separately or in combination with other information to identify your personality (“Personal Data”).

• Personal Data You Provide: When you register or use the Services, you voluntarily provide us with certain Personal Data, including your name (surname), e-mail address, and photo. If you register your account via your social network account (such as Facebook, etc.), the information we receive from these accounts depends on your settings and Privacy Policies of these social networking platforms. Please, consult their Policies to understand how to maintain confidentiality on these platforms.
• Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our Services, such as information about the types of content you view or work with, the functions you use, the activities you take, the other users you interact with, the frequency and duration of your activity.
• Voice Recordings: Some lessons involve you speaking into our app. To recognize speech, your audio may be sent to a third-party provider such as Microsoft Azure.

We can also collect information not related to Personal Data, such as your time zone or language.

Use of Information

We use the collected information to:

• Developers and service providers: To help us meet the needs of business operations and perform certain services and functions, your Personal Data can be transferred to third-party providers of hosting services, e-mail delivery, customer support services, analytics, marketing services, advertising (including Microsoft Azure and Google services)
• Transfer of control over the Company: If we participate in a merger, acquisition, financing of complex financial and legal expertise, reorganization, bankruptcy procedure, compulsory liquidation, sale of all or part of our assets or the transfer of the service to another provider, your Personal Data and other information may be transferred to the assignee or an affiliate during this operation.
• For legal compliance: If it is required by law, applicable regulatory document or in a good-faith belief that such actions are necessary to (1) comply with a legal obligation, (2) protect the rights or property of the Company, (3) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of our users, or the public, or (4) rescue the Company from legal responsibility.

If you need to change or correct your Personal Data, or you want to remove it from our systems, please contact us at tutor@japi.ai. We will consider your request in accordance with current law. In addition, you can update your Personal Data yourself in your user settings.

Please note that these rights are not absolute and may refuse requests to exercise data subject rights if there is a legitimate reason, such as if we cannot authenticate your identity, if the request could violate the rights of a third party or applicable law, or if the request could interfere with our service or prevent us from delivering a service you requested

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect Personal Data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction. However, no way of transferring the data via the Internet is 100% secure. Therefore, although we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute safety.

Mobile “In-App” Purchases

Jadipintar mobile application offer an “in-app” purchase option which make possible to use a “pro” version of the application. There are two options: Monthly and Yearly plan. Both offers 300 Daily conversation token and personalized learning path. Payments will be processed through the Google Play or iTunes app store from which you originally downloaded the application. You may access the applicable “in-app” purchase rules and policies directly from the app stores.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do it, we publish an updated version on this page. Continuing to use the Apps or providing us with information after the publication of the updated Privacy Policy, you agree to the revised Privacy Policy and the procedure described therein.
